Molly the Goldendoodle!

I met up with Jill, Bill and Molly on a beautiful summer evening at the Acton Arboretum to capture some sweet moments. I met Jill and Molly years ago when I used to live in Maynard and we would hang out at the park with our dogs. I’m a huge dog lover and dabbled in pet photography way before I was photographing weddings. I was also a dog walker for years and would carry my camera along to snap as many poochie photos as I could. It was the best job! I got to be outside all day with dogs and never had to go to the gym after work! Ok those snowy/sleety/rainy days weren’t always great but I loved how much fresh air I was getting. So when Jill contacted me to get some portraits of her and Molly I was super excited. We snuck in a few with her husband Bill as well but he also made a great assistant behind the camera. Molly is eleven years old and looks so amazingly healthy. She is very well taken care of and loved so much by Jill and Bill. I was honored to capture these moments for them and understand how our dogs are part of our family. Our dog Sophie has brought so much joy to our lives and we’ve met so many people taking her to parks and on hikes. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from our time together.
