Jenn + Mike

I can’t think of a better way to finish the wedding season then photographing Jenn and Mike’s wedding. I was very much looking forward to their wedding day after hanging out with them for their engagement session at Smith College this summer. Their wedding ceremony was at the Pines Theater at Look Park which in my mind is the perfect spot for a ceremony. They were surrounded by beautiful trees which were turning an amazing golden yellow and with the sun setting in the background it was just perfection. We then headed over to the Garden House which is also next to the Pines Theater and also part of Look Park. Any fall wedding reception with a fireplace roaring is also perfect and cozy. The location was amazing but most of all my favorite part of Jenn and Mike’s wedding day was their wedding party. They really have a great group of friends that were so fun during the getting ready and so helpful throughout the day. I’ve photographed a lot of weddings and it’s important to surround yourself with positive people and I would think some friends who will make you laugh is a plus. Yes weddings and marriage are serious business but it is a celebration! A special thanks to Darcy for assisting for the day and her photos of the guys getting ready are in the mix along with some others. Congrats Jenn and Mike!! Ok now on to the photos!
