When I met Rhie a few months ago I knew I would love photographing her wedding, she was so sweet and easy to talk to. She mentioned how important it was for me to capture the moments of her friends and family and how excited she was to have her ceremony at the MIT chapel. We were all a little worried there would be a huge snowstorm but it ended being a beautiful sunny day on the last day of February. I met Rhie and KC at the College Club of Boston for some getting ready photos with some of their friends and family who traveled from Korea for the celebration. The brownstone building was minutes from Boston Common and is a perfect winter venue. Though it was cold outside it was warm and cozy inside and the extra large windows let in a ton of natural sunlight which is a photographer’s dream! We then hopped on the red trolley and headed to Cambridge. Traveling over the bridge the city looked so beautiful under a white blanket of snow. The MIT chapel has always been on my list to photograph. It has a windowless interior with a large circular skylight with a sparkling sculpture created by Harry Bertoia flowing down to the altar. The ceremony included an opera singer which was amazing and sounded so good in the chapel. We then headed back to the Club for a brunch reception which included a Jazz ensemble. Congrats to Rhie and Kwanghun and for having me document your winter wedding! Now on to the photos!
