Rachel + Donal – Tolgy Wood Camp

Well like most of us time has stood still in many ways and I haven’t blogged in about two years! I’ve been taking photos personally and hanging out with my daughter since the shut down in March of 2020. Rachel and Donal’s wedding was the first I photographed this year and it was the best one to pull me out of the pandemic haze. Their laid back wedding in the woods of Williamsburg at Tolgy Wood was beautiful for all the senses. There were smiles, singing, musicians, poetry and as you will see a canoeing ceremony exit! Guests camped out and got to take in the scenery and share much needed time with friends and loved ones. Rachel and Donal are much loved and had the most speeches during the reception I have ever witnessed. Many people got up to share memories they have had with the couple and that was so heart warming to document. Love Rachel’s dress!? Her dress was made out of a lace tablecloth, I knew it looked very familiar. Designed by Double Shift Clothing right her in Western Massachusetts! Here is their wedding story!
